Our targeted beneficiaries of new 2010 SFS programs will include Veteran non-profit organizations whose charters embody service to active duty Armed Forces, injured or ill Veterans and their families as well as Veteran organizations dedicated to reintegration, education and workforce investment for our military when they return home.

The success of our Gift Card Program, which undoubtedly could generate significant funding for numerous Veteran related non-profits, relies heavily on participation of Sponsors including Big Box Retail, Grocery, Restaurant and Small Business.

As many of the proposed Beneficiaries do not solicit donations or, as per their charter, are unable to incorporate funding strategies such as the SFS Gift Card Program, it is the goal of SFS to facilitate funding for qualifying organizations through Sponsors that would like to support these types of non-profits.

The 2010 Shopping For Soldiers Veterans Gift Card & Shopping Card promotion is an exciting and unique way for consumers and our Sponsors to support our honored Veterans, active duty, injured or sick military and their families.

Consumers may purchase Gift Cards or reloadable Shopping Cards through SFS from our Sponsors at face value and use those cards at the respective retail location, grocery store or restaurant.

Since SFS either buys the Gift Cards or Shopping Cards at a discount for resale or is provided a "Promo Code" from each Sponsor for online purchases of the card, SFS will use the proceeds (difference between face value and discount buy rate) to support and maintain existing SFS programs as well as programs offered thorough our partner non-profits.

This type of funding strategy, and the monies generated through the program, is only limited as to the number of Sponsors that are participating and the strength of the Sponsors' marketing campaign behind the program.

For example, a Retailer, Grocery Store or Restaurant (Sponsor) agrees to participate in the SFS Gift Card or Shopping Card Promotion. The Sponsor would then either:

• Sell their Gift Card or Shopping Card to SFS at a discount for resale at local or national SFS events;

• Sell SFS Gift Cards or Shopping Cards at Sponsor point-of-sale (checkout) or;

• Provide a SFS "Promo Code" for consumers that purchase these cards on line at the respective Sponsor website.

A $50 card, yielding a 10% discount (donation) to SFS, would result in a $5 donation to support and maintain existing SFS programs and/or programs offered through our partner/beneficiary non-profits.

Just imagine the amount of money that could be raised for Veterans, injured or sick military and their families, if just one large national Big Box Retailer, Grocery or Restaurant Chain offered both point-of-sale and online purchase of their respective SFS Gift or Shopping Card. And these Sponsors are mainly Retailers, Grocery Stores or Restaurants where consumers shop regularly.

Once the program is up and running we could design a custom gift/shopping card with the respective Sponsor logo and the above sample card design.

This type of program is a win-win for everyone involved. It is also important to point out that the items and consumables that make up the care packages, gift baskets and other donated items will be purchased from the same Sponsors that provide the proceeds to SFS.

For example, a national Grocery Chain could participate in this program and SFS would go right back to them to purchase items needed for Fisher House (provides on-site housing for injured or sick military at VA Hospitals or Medical Centers) or used to supply our partner non-profits who supply care packages sent to active duty forces with funding. Other opportunities that present are SFS partnerships and fund raisers with schools and churches in which proceeds from card sales would be split.

As theVeteran Gift Card program grows SFS could also offer up their own Affiliate Marketing Campaign through qualifying SFS Chapters throughout the Country.
