Our targeted beneficiaries of new 2010 SFS programs will include Veteran non-profit organizations whose charters embody service to active duty Armed Forces, injured or ill Veterans and their families as well as Veteran organizations dedicated to reintegration, education and workforce investment for our military when they return home.
The success of our Gift Card Program, which undoubtedly could generate significant funding for numerous Veteran related non-profits, relies heavily on participation of Sponsors including Big Box Retail, Grocery, Restaurant and Small Business.
As many of the proposed Beneficiaries do not solicit donations or, as per their charter, are unable to incorporate funding strategies such as the SFS Gift Card Program, it is the goal of SFS to facilitate funding for qualifying organizations through Sponsors that would like to support these types of non-profits.

MILITARY WEB 2.0, VETERAN WORKFORCE INVESTMENT & DEVELOPMENT
|
|
We have combined these two components as they will be developed in tadem with each other based upon the success, and available funding, from our new Gift Card & Shopping Card Promotion.
Military Web 2.0
The term "Web 2.0" is commonly associated with web applications that facilitate interactive information sharing, interoperability, user-centered design, and collaboration on the World Wide Web. Examples of Web 2.0 include web-based communities, hosted services, web applications, social-networking sites, video-sharing sites, wikis, blogs, etc.
Web 2.0 websites allow users to do more than just retrieve information. They can build on the interactive facilities of "Web 1.0" to provide "Network as platform" computing, allowing users to run software-applications entirely through a browser. Users can own the data on a Web 2.0 site and exercise control over that data. These sites may have an "Architecture of participation" that encourages users to add value to the application as they use it.

The new Military Web 2.0 can provide a necessary migration and awareness for new SFS programs and provide much needed interaction, marketing and employer outreach components surrounding our partner non-profit beneficiaries.
Veterans Workforce Investment & Development
A natural migration and potential funding alternatives available through SFSprograms could provide for enhanced workforce investment and development utilizing partnerships with existing federal agencies and private sector concentrating on emerging growth sector markets -- namely Technology and Health Care.
SFS could provide mathching funding for programs offered through the U.S. Dept. of Labor Veterans Workforce Investment Program and Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) that could provide additional training and job placement for qualifying individuals.
Other partnerships and alliances could introduce Orion International, Vetrepreneurs or National Retail Federation Foundations' Retail Skills Center and greatly enhance their presence in the marketplace.
Employers could also use theSFS Military Web 2.0 platform to provide online job qualification and distance learning modules.
