A Word of Thanks...
"My name is Jonathan and I was an E-4 in the 101st ABN. Recently I got the opportunity to attend the Superbowl XLIV thanks to David Meldeau and Shopping for Soldiers Needs. I just wanted to say it is not about me or David, it is about my brothers and sisters that are still out there sacrificing their comforts, freedoms and sometimes lives so that me and everyone here can get a taste of unaltered American freedom.
You are not alone out there guys, the American people are fully supporting your cause and hope you will get back home safe."
~ Jonathan M, E-4, 101st ABN

Saturday, February 6, 2010 (Boca Raton, FL)
ShoppingForSoldiersNeeds.org (SFS) , a Boca Raton based non-profit organization benefiting injured and ill soldiers, is proud to be a part of sending an injured soldier on to the Super Bowl in Miami , FL on Sunday February 7th, 2010.
Dave Meldeau called upon SFS Saturday to see if we could assist him in finding an injured Soldier that would like to go to the game with him. We immediately reached out to one of our partner organizations and discovered that Jonathan M., Army E4 specialist, had never been to a live NFL game in his life… so we thought what a great inaugural live game for this honored soldier to attend. So they are on their way to the Super Bowl!
The gracious gift by Mr. Meldeau -- from ETNTrade.com -- to take a soldier to the game is a fine example of just one person giving back to one Soldier who has given so much. SFS was happy to help while continuing the SFS vision of giving back to the men and women that have sacrificed so much to keep us free here at home. Furthermore, SFS 2010 initiatives include seeking out in kind individuals, companies, groups and other organizations to follow suit and provide tickets and passes to all kinds of entertainment and sports venues throughout the United States.
So, a hearty ‘thank you’ to Dave and Jonathan from all us at Shopping For Soldiers and we certainly hope that they enjoy what is sure to be a great contest and memorable game for both!
